Ksar Hallouf is a 13th century fortified (ksar) granary. There are 6 restored ghorfas (long, barrel-vaulted rooms built to store grain) converted into accommodation for visitors ensuring a perfect stay. The attractive façades built from rough stone, is one of the most tranquil places to stop off in

Tunisia. Located around the main square, they are all laid out on two floors and one of them houses a traditional oil press. From the top of the hill overlooking the ksar's disused small mosque, visitors can enjoy views of the sun setting behind the palm grove and surrounding peaks.
